After Hollywood’s most powerful directors win their most coveted recognition - the Academy Award for Best Director - where do they go next? In this data visualization, I wanted to explore the common approaches of certain groups of directors, and see the different ways that a filmmaker can parlay influence and notoriety into long, storied careers.
